Magnisimo is looking for friendly, dependable and tech-comfortable people to join our event team on a contract/per-event basis.
If you’re outgoing, professional, enjoy working with people and don’t mind evenings and weekends, this can be a great flexible side gig.
Locations: Orange County, Los Angeles & San Diego
Schedule: Mostly evenings and weekends
Pay: $30–$50/hour depending on experience and assignment
Position Type: Independent Contractor / Per Event
What You’ll Do
As a Photo Booth Attendant / Event Tech, you’ll help create a smooth and fun experience for guests while making sure our equipment and event setup are running properly.
Responsibilities may include:
- Setting up and breaking down photo booth equipment
- Greeting and engaging with guests
- Helping guests use the booth
- Keeping lines and guest flow organized
- Monitoring booth equipment during the event
- Basic troubleshooting
- Assisting with printers, cameras, tablets and other event equipment
- Helping our photography and production team as needed
- Keeping the event area clean and professional
You don’t need to be a professional photographer.
We can train the right person on our equipment and workflow.
Who We’re Looking For

- Professional and well-presented
- Comfortable with basic technology
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Comfortable working in busy event environments
- Available for evening and weekend events
- Able to lift and move event equipment
- Have reliable transportation
Previous experience with events, photography, photo booths, AV, hospitality or technology is helpful but not required.
What Events Are Like
Magnisimo works at weddings, corporate events, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, birthdays, fundraisers, private celebrations and other special events.
Events typically run between 2–6 hours, plus setup and breakdown time.
Assignments are offered based on your location, availability, experience and the needs of each event.
This is flexible contract work rather than a guaranteed weekly schedule.
